1) Arab Israeli actress arrested over Gaza social media post

Social Media has caused a leading Arab Israeli actress, Maisa Abdel Hadi, to be arrested. She was detained on suspicion of causing incitement to terrorism about Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel.

2) Gaza ceasefire ‘only benefits Hamas’ – Joe Biden

Following the Isreali war, The National Security Council spokeman, John Kirby in an interview backed up what The US President, Joe Biden said, that a ceasefire in Gaza would only be of a benefit to the Hamas.

1) Africa’s Millionaires to hit 195,000 by 2032

According to the report on 24th October, 2023, the population of Africa’s millionaires is estimated to hit a significant growth of 195,000 by 2032, which is a 42% increase from the initial 138,000 recorded in 2022. WE ARE AFRICANS! LOUDER!!!

2) #Fuel Scarcity: Fuel price rises 226.75% to 626.21 litre

It is no more a new thing that price of fuel increases yearly. But this time, it increased with a 3 figure percentage, 226.75% per cent in September 2023 from the initial 191.65 per liter to 626.21 per liter.

3) Nigeria needs $3trn investment to sustain economic growth – AfDB

Africa Development Bank, AfDB has projected that Nigeria requires $3trillion infrastructure investment over the next three decades and around $165 billion in the medium term to establish a world class infrastructure network capable of sustaining economic growth and development.

4) Oil Market: We need $14trn investment to meet global demand says Al Ghasis

It was said yesterday that the world needed to invest $14 trillion between 2023 and 2045 to meet the global demandWhat ya say?

5) Nigeria records 33.5% reduction in fuel consumption

Following the increased in the price of Motor Spirit, the industry of deregulation has seen a 33.58% reduction in fuel consumption of Nigerians. Does this seem encouraging to you?

6) Jesus helps Arsenal beat Sevilla in Champions League clash

Gabriel Jesus scored a goal and grabbed an assist to help Arsenal get back to winning ways in the champions league with victory at Sevilla. After losing 2-1 to Lens in their previous European outing, the Gunners came through a difficult test against the seven – time Europa League winners.

Poverty in Nigeria is as prevalent as 80 million Nigerian children are wallowing in it, out of the 130 million people in abject poverty in Nigeria.

8) Bandits kill vigilante, abduct locals in Kaduna

Again, bandits on Tuesday night invaded a fuel station in Kaduna State and killed a vigilante member, local and abducted scores.

9) Dozen of US states sue Meta over harm to children

Dozens of US states on Tuesday accused Facebook and Instagram for misleading people over the safety of its platforms. In a bid to maximize the financial gain of Meta, it has damaged children’s mental health causing them grievous pain.

10) Sanwolu assures investors of enabling business environment in Lagos

The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has assured manufacturers that his administration is going to ensure improvement in the country’s business environment.

A 42 years old man, Nwoko Eric, yesterday, revealed how his former boss allegedly deceived him into donating one of his kidneys to his younger brother, only to abandon him after the transplant was done.

1) #Portal Down: Hitches as 35,000 students ballot for 8,000-bed spaces in UNILAG 

On Monday, students of the University of Lagos started balloting for bed spaces in their school hostels, but many of the students were unable to take park in the exercise because they were unable to access the portal which left many of the students and their parent feeling frustrated.

2) #Insecurity: FG begins implementation of safe school policy – Minister 

The minister of State of Education, Dr Yusuf Sununu said that the implementation of the safe school policy to prevent schools from further attacks has commenced.
